Oceanside and Costa Mesa, CA - April 29 & May 1, 2025 - Join us at the Plot restaurant for an unforgettable culinary experience as we present our next Plantscape, an imaginative dinner series that showcases the intersection of plant-based cuisine and a zero-waste philosophy. This dinner, themed "Spring Izakaya,” will celebrate the vibrant flavors of spring through live fire cooking, grilling, steaming, and simmering techniques. These methods will highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients while also incorporating preservation, fermentation, and other sustainable practices that are deeply rooted in Japanese tradition. Diners can expect an exciting fusion of Japanese technique and exploratory plant-based cooking, balancing local ingredients with components such as natto and yamaimo. The result will be dishes that are not only delicious but also novel and exciting.
